Laila Mung dal, a vegetarian’s delight, is a hearty addition to soups, stews and curries. Also, traditionally used in South Asian and Middle Eastern dishes. Moong Dal is often cooked into soups or purées, boiled and mashed to make stuffed parathas, soaked and powdered into flour to make pancakes.
Split Mung Beans. May contain cereals containing gluten.
Soak and rinse in cold water and then bring to the boil. Simmer until tender. Do not eat raw.
